London Easter and related adventures

The UK has an extra long weekend for Easter - Friday and Monday are national holidays. Can I tell you how much I love that? It's been a super busy period at work, so a long weekend to decompress a bit is definitely welcome. Troy and I spent most of the weekend just relaxing. We watched all 3 DVDs on rent from LoveFilm - (1) Man for all Seasons (Thomas More), (2) Groundhog Day (okay, didn't actually finish it, but we're sending it back anyway), and (3) The Lives of Others. Nice to finish them and mail them all back..
Tee took another driving lesson on Friday and managed not to hit anything, yet again. I tell you, one of these days, I'll be ready for the UK driving test. I can't wait. The test is booked for early May (2 month waiting period to get a slot for the test!), but I'm expecting to be able to sneak in a test into a cancellation somewhere soon.
Easter itself was great - first, it snowed all day long, which was pretty bizarre. Kitty and King Friday enjoyed exploring outside while it was snowing, and they didn't know quite how to react to the snow. It didn't really stick, but it definitely was more than a flurry and it's lasted through today (Monday). We spent most of the day with friends and their extended family with a big feast and tons of food, drink and games. Tee particularly enjoyed his first drink after 40 days of not a single sip.. mmm... click the image below to see all the pictures.
